
Apple iPhone 7 Launch Day, Confirmed September 7th
If you’ve been waiting with bated breath for the launch of the new Apple iPhone 7 so you can rush into your cell phone provider and upgrade, then your wait is very nearly over!
September 7th has been announced as the official day for the launch plus, we will likely see the new Apple Watch 2 on the same day.
Here’s what to look for. Absolutely NO headphone jack, storage capacity up to 256GB, the obvious faster A10 processor, AND it looks like a precise, pressure responsive Home Button will be incorporated into the iPhone 7.

August 29, 2016 update: Apple has made it official: something’s happening on September 7 — and it’s most likely the debut of the iPhone 7 (and the Apple Watch 2).
As was rumored for the past few weeks, the company will indeed be hosting an event on the first Wednesday in September; we now know it’s scheduled for 10 a.m. PT and going down at the Bill Graham Civic Auditorium in San Francisco. This puts us on track for a likely retail release on September 16 or 23.

In recent years, Apple has alternated annually between major design changes and minor upgrades. That’s expected to change in 2016. The overall consensus among analysts and rumor-mongers, supported by many unofficial photos and videos leaked during the past few months, is that for the second year in a row we’re likely to see mostly modest, superficial changes — call it the “iPhone 6SS,” if you will.
